Post questions for each other. Either about how to do something we are studying in class, or just something interesting.

  2. What do you guys think is the hardest transformation from what we've been learning in class? I'm having a tough time remembering that in Horizontal shrinks/stretches, the factor is the reciprocal of c. Anyone else having the same issue?
And David, I can definitely help you! When do you have Mr. Frank?

  3. HI TARIRO!!! xD

things outside the f(x) work as they should, like things inside f(x) never would.

so basically when there's something inside f(x), like f(2x)or f(x+2) then you know that it does something funky xD

does this helpa little, maybe...? ;)

Okay, here's my attempt at an interesting question...

Have you ever sworn you'd never EVER do something, and then somehow fall into it?
I want the WHOLE story, & if you liked it or if you still hated it! :D

  4. Well, I THINK I have a good grasp on what we are learning in class right now. We have basically done translations, transformations, reflections(over x and y axis), vertical shrinks & stretches, and horizontal shrinks & stretches. An example for a translation could be: f(x)+k or f(x)-k, which would move the graph up k units or down k units. Today we did class work looking at graphs and writing down the function and reflection. Another example would be if the function is: -g(x+2) that would mean it was reflected over the x-axis(because of the -g) and moved left 2 units(because of x+2).
    Hoped this helped,

  5. Hey Michaela!! Thank you, that sorta helps a little bit? And to your question.....hmmm...I think thats me everynight after games! I swear i'll do my homework right after a game, but then I end up getting on facebook :/
Then end up staying up till 1 :/

But I have a REALLY good question for everyone! So a while ago, I felt my heartbeat, and I was wondering. Why can you HEAR your heartbeat when you feel it? I hope that makes sense, cant wait to see what you guys say!

  6. If you feel you're own heartbeat, it is called a "heart palpitation". It's not really anything out of the ordinary, just a result of anxiety, excitement or stress. Also, it is a can be a result of drinking a particularly caffeinated or sugar-filled drink.
    Hope that helps.

  7. Almost forgot,
Does anyone know how to "describe properties" I just need to review that a little.

  8. I do Jonathan! If you look on the blog there was a homework problem that listed all the properties with a hand-drawn graph. Try that problem if you havent and come see me or a classmate.
