9/22 Factring Quadratics Practice

Factoring Quad

  1. Very simple math, is there is no number in front of x^2 then u find out what number multiplies to the last number and adds up to the middle number with x. If there is a number for x^2 then u can multiply that number with the last number and then do the steps like u would do with x^2.

  2. Factoring the problems with 6x^2 and higher were pretty hard, is there an easy way to solve them?

  3. There are "other" ways to do them. But they boil down to the same thing. Maybe I will show the class another way. I thought splitting the middle would be easiest because usually most students have seen it. Maybe I am wrong.

We will revisit this so maybe we can try it another way. Maybe you can find another method to show the class. Or a video or a link to help the class out.
